Cellulaze - Because cellulite isn't a fat problem

Cellulite is a structural problem below the skin, and that’s not your fault. Many cellulite treatments focus on treating fat from above the skin but only Cellulaze attacks the brittle structural bonds beneath the skin that are the real cause of cellulite’s dimpled appearance.

Cellulaze increases your skin’s natural depth for a smoother, healthier look that lasts. All from just one simple treatment.

If you're considering treatments for cellulite, this outline will give you a basic understanding of the procedure when it can help, how it's performed, and what results you can expect.

It can't answer all of your questions, since a lot depends on the individual patient. Dr. Walker is more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please contact her office any time.

How does Cellulaze work?

Cellulaze is a unique treatment that uses laser energy. A very small cannula (or tube about the size of the tip of a pen) is inserted under the skin and a laser fiber inside the tube delivers energy directly under the skin.

This increases the depth and quality of your skin, while simultaneously releasing the fibrous bands that pull it down — minimizing the orange peel look associated with cellulite. Finally, the laser is used to diminish the lumpy pockets of fat that protrude though the fibrous bands under your skin.

Because the area where Cellulaze is used is numbed with local anesthesia, there is minimal discomfort during the procedure. You may feel a light pressure. Following a Cellulaze treatment, you may experience some soreness, but you will be able to return to your normal activities in a day or two.

How do I know if I am a good fit for Cellulaze?

Cellulaze delivers the best results for women who are not significantly overweight but have mild to moderate cellulite on their thighs.

You may have tried diet and exercise but no matter how many pounds you lose or how often you frequent the gym, cellulite may still be a problem. It’s not your fault, since diet and exercise can’t address the fibrous bands that pull down on the skin and cause that dimpled appearance of cellulite.

How do I know Cellulaze really works?

Cellulaze is backed by two years of clinical research. Studies have shown that it increases the thickness of your skin by 25% and the elasticity of your skin by 29% — significant claims that haven’t been made by any other treatments.

Thicker and more elastic skin can help flatten and smooth the skin’s surface to improve the appearance of cellulite.

You’ll see some improvement right away with optimal results apparent between 3-6 months. Since new collagen is formed in the areas treated with Cellulaze and the structures under the skin are altered... results are lasting.

Clinical studies have shown results can last for one year or more. However, it is important to maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen to continue to enjoy the excellent results.
