Dr. Walker is proud to have performed procedures for both her peers and their children.  It speaks to her ability as a surgeon as well as her professionalism.

Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Walker specializes in both non-operative and surgical facial rejuvenation procedures, nasal surgery for breathing difficulties, liposuction and liposculpture, body re-contouring procedures (“tummy-tuck”- abdominoplasty), along with breast reconstruction and augmentation.

Dr. Walker is also a volunteer for Luz del Sol - a volunteer plastic surgery organization - and has traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide charitable surgical care.  Dr. Walker participates in the Knock Out Abuse program and volunteers her surgical services to abused women and children.

Dr. Walker currently has hospital privileges at Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Memorial Hospital, MedStar Surgery Center, Georgetown University Hospital, and The Surgery Center of Chevy Chase.

Dr. Walker received her undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Washington Medical School in Seattle, Washington where she graduated with Thesis Honors.  After being awarded an International College of Surgeons Scholarship at the University of Oxford School of Medicine, in Great Britain, Dr. Walker went on to complete her residency in otolaryngology and general surgery at Yale University School of Medicine.  She then continued on to complete her residency in plastic surgery at Georgetown University Medical School.

Following her residency, Dr. Walker completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the Hopital Necker in Paris, France with Docteur Daniel Marchac.  Dr. Walker has been in private practice since 1995.

Dr. Walker is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine 

Additionally she participated in the FDA/Mentor Adjunct Study for Silicone Gel-Filled Implants at Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Memorial Hospital.

A prolific advocate for advancements in plastic surgery, Dr. Walker has also published articles in the areas of breast anatomy, rhinoplasty, and fat reduction therapy, appeared on Channel 4 (Washington D.C.) News, Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Memorial Hospital General Education Panels, and Georgetown University Panels.
